Kitsap county government has little respect for property rights, efficiency, transparency or accountability. Excessive rules and conflicting regulations have stagnated jobs and growth in the county. Conservative Democrats believe working families are the GOLD STANDARD and their investments in Kitsap need to be protected. Traditional Democrats, Independents and Liberal Republicans must unite. We can still fix Kitsap. My background in local business for the last 45 years tells me that simplifying regulations and honoring a performance audit of county government will save millions of dollars by exposing governments 1980s style of excessive mid-management. Forget Vision 2040 with Kitsap toll roads and regional control, let’s try Wally Vision 2010 and streamline Kitsap Government and control our own destiny.
I LOVE local solutions to Kitsap problems. Regional solutions gave us the ridiculous intersection north of Silverdale.
PAY IT FORWARD: $50 off homeowners property tax for each instance of composting, vegetable gardens or abandoning commercial nitrogen fertilizers.
PARKS: Put in basic utilities and find a “Volunteer” caretaker to bring their own housing, live there, maintain and coordinate use.
ADD FLEXIBLE LANE: When needed (three lanes thru Gorst) and open an office in Silverdale once a week for citizens to talk directly about local concerns.
